Hi guys and welcome back to the Chef's specials. My apologies for no update last week but i was so busy with work and stuff i didn't really have time and to be honest i couldn't find much to write home about, clubwise, anyway so i took some time out for some quiet R&R.

House Arrest presents Alan Gray (Telefunken) @ Monty's, Guildhall Street, Dunfermline, Fife.
House Arrest returns to its new home at Monty's in Dunfermline this month for another session of bumpin', jackin' beats as resident disco jockeys Mr Manyana, Dibbs and Klubfoot enlist Sir Alan to demonstrate those tip top house flavours which have been rockin Edinburgh in recent months. As Telefunken's head honcho, Alan has played alongside the likes of DJ Sneak, Hector Moralez, Mastik Soul, Jason Hodges, Phil Weeks and Jamanta Crew to name but a few, so there's probably nobody in the country more qualified to rock this party to its foundations. Expect plenty of funky, ass shaking grooves from around the world heavily influenced by swingin Chicago.

Noise Porn 1st Birthday Bash @ Cabaret Voltaire, 36 Blair Street, Edinburgh
If you're in Edinburgh on Friday night and electro, dubstep, breaks, and bassheavy electronica is more your thing then head down to Cab Vol and join the Noise Porn crew as they celebrate their first birthday with a truly raucous party featuring the intimidatingly good, musical hurricane that is Hostage, supported in the main room by the equally talented Hijack and Master Chemist. These guys have been destroying dancefloors all over the UK and beyond recently with some of the wonkiest bass heavy beats you'll hear all year. Through the back the Aztech crew of Siren, Re:Tox and Al Majik will be serving their usual gut-bursting breakfest with some proper jumpin drum n bass and rip roaring electro bangers thrown in for good measure. Expect to sweat cos this is gonna get hotter than a snake's ass in a waggon rut!

Fiasco's Secret Location Party 2, Somewhere in or around Glasgow, UK
If you're one of the lucky ones who've managed to get Monday off work and you still have some energy and an obsession for top quality House Music that just won't go away then you really should head out west to Glasgow for Fiasco's second annual Secret Location Party!
Resident's Frazer Devine and Ed-FM have pulled out all the stops this year to put together an amazing event featuring 15 Djs including Inland Knights, Tommy Largo, Giom, Soydan, Ibiza legend Marco Loco, Flatpack Traxx Crew plus a whole host of local talents who will be playing during this mammoth 11 hour event.
The Party kicks off at 4pm at Moskito on Bath Street, Glasgow where everybody will meet up before boarding coaches which will transport us to the "Secret Location." Here the party will continue with a fully lisenced bar and some more awesome house music guaranteed to keep you bumpin and jackin till the coaches ferry us back to the Admiral Bar on Waterloo Street at around 10.30.
Back at The Admiral the party will kick off again till the wee small hours or untill the staff manage to get us off the premises!
Tickets for this are £25 each and available from Ticket Scotland or from any of the DJs involved.
If you can't make the secret location part of the days events but wanna come and join us at The Admiral from 10.30pm then you can pay at the door when you arrive. Door price will be £10
